NCAA Eligibility Center

The NCAA Eligibility Center is the national clearinghouse that certifies high school athletes' academic credentials and amateur status before they can compete in NCAA Division I or II. D3 athletes do not register with the Eligibility Center.

You register at eligibilitycenter.org during sophomore or junior year. You'll submit transcripts, SAT/ACT scores (where required), and confirm you haven't competed professionally or accepted prize money beyond NCAA limits.

D1 and D2 schools cannot officially offer aid until the Eligibility Center has certified you. Don't wait — start the process by junior year to avoid recruiting delays.
